Antique Carbon Arc Theatre Lamp vintage
1920's Brenkert - Detroit, Light Projection Company, Model G-14, Electric Arc Theatre Lamp. It's in very good complete condition. 1928 original sale price was $445. All controls operate except for carbon feed and focus. These controls are only lightly stuck. I will get them to work before item is shipped. The 6 color filter frames are included, without the color papers. The 2 focusing lenses; spot and flood are there but the flood lens has one clean heat crack across the middle. It will still function fine. Two carbon rod sets are included; .750 and .375. diameter. New carbons can be ordered online. Original power cables are in good condition and quite serviceable. Filter frame control wires are rusty but serviceable. The nickel plating is flaking off two of the control shafts. I will also include a large, antique ballast resistor and modern diodes mounted on heat sinks to make this 'ol girl operate. I'm familiar with the operations of this Lamp, so please ask any questions you may have regarding the condition or operations. Have a blast lighting up the clouds above. Light up the nearest water tower or building or a mountainside. Add a tin silhouette to the light beam to call for Batman to save your city! Light up an entire baseball field with one lamp!
